side for you!

This makes the perfect shower gift. You can hold the baby and wash them at
the same time. No more searching for the disappearing washcloth! It also has a
nice scrubbing side for yourself!
Materials: -Worsted weight cotton - 3 3/4 mm DPN's (double pointed
needles)
Cast on 35 sts and divide onto 3 needles.
Round 1: K1, P1, to end
Round 2: P1, K1, to end
Continue in pattern (moss stitch) untill wrist measures 2".
Next Round: 1st needle- moss stitch
2nd needle- knit
3rd needle- knit
Repeat last round untill peice measure 8".
Next Round: K2tog, K2, repeat to last st, K last stitch
Next Round: Knit
Next Round: K2tog, K1, repeat to last 2 sts, K2tog.
Next Round: Knit.
Next Round: K2tog around to last st. K last stitch
Next Round: ]Knit, break off yarn. Thread yarn though remaning sts closing top
of mitt.
Finishing: Darn in all ends. Crochet a chain long enough to go around mitt and
tie. Weave it in around the cuff and tie it pulling the wrist in some. Or you
can sew in elastic thread around cuff to help hold mitt in place.
**NOTE** to make a larger size, just increase the # of cast on stitches in odd
numbers.And increase the knitted peice size from 8" to desired length for
your hand.** Would also work for scrubbing the dishes!**
